Trundle is a small rural community that is extremely proactive in remaining a sustainable and viable community. Agriculture underpins our lifeblood, however, tourism and special events have become important contributors to the economy of our community. Through our strategic plan, developed in 2009, the entire population has created a working plan to ensure a committed and organised approach to Trundle's future. This has resulted in many benefits, including the Trundle Rejuvenation Project, developed to renovate the town's iconic main street buildings. Trundle also received acclaim recently with it's initiative to bring new residents to Trundle in the Trundle Tree Change scheme. And with a population of 350, this town is able to host two major festivals - Trundle Bush Tucker Day in September and the Trundle ABBA festival in March, along with the RAS show in August and many other sporting and social events.
